The wonderful smell is the first thing that hits you when you enter the production area at Dan Cake - our large, modern bakery. Here you'll see an ingenious mix of ovens, employees, conveyor belts, cakes and machines - everywhere you look. This is where the cakes become reality. And this is also where we test the many fragrant creations:

How does it taste, smell and look? Is there anything that needs to be corrected - or are we left with a perfect result?

Everything is tested - at every step of the production process. Both while the dough is being mixed and stirred, after it has left the oven - and close to the expiration date, we test; we take samples from every batch we bake.

Our bakery embodies both the passion for classic Danish pastries and the modern production facilities.

Welcome to production

When a cake is created

A lot of attention is paid to maintaining quality. All the time. For all products. We check everything throughout the entire process up to the finished result. Around the clock. All raw materials and machines are continuously tested and inspected so that any errors can be corrected immediately.

We've put various sensory checks in place for the entire manufacturing process. From mixing the dough, preparing fruit fillings or icing to packaging the finished cake and sending it to the shops. Everything has to be right.

And all the rest of the years-long string of sweet, tempting cakes from our bakery: All conceived, tested, refined and baked at Dan Cake since the very beginning in 1931.
