Start by assembling the truffles: Stick a toothpick through the cocoa and rum ball so that a small tip sticks out at the top. You will use this to attach the ears.
Next, make the ears: Cut a marshmallow diagonally lengthwise. Split each half almost in half (not all the way), so they fold out like little ears. Attach the ears to the tip of a toothpick at the top of each chocolate ball.
