Christmas marzipan cake

Give Christmas a delicious layer cake twist!

Take three of our Christmas marzipan tarts with delicious Christmas spices and spread apricot jam on top of two of them. Place the cakes on top of each other - the third one should be on top without jam on top.

Soften the butter and grate in the orange zest for extra Christmas cheer. Beat the butter with icing sugar until you have a light and fluffy buttercream. Spread the cream all around the cake so it looks nice and cohesive, but leave the top free.

Then melt the chocolate. Dip a teaspoon into the melted chocolate and draw little Christmas trees on baking paper. Let them set and then place them upright around the cake - or decorate with whatever Christmas design you like. The only limit is your imagination!

  • 1 glass of apricot jam
  • 2 oranges
  • 2 packs of butter
  • 400 g icing sugar

Add a little orange marmalade and continue beating until the cream is light and fluffy.
